Knitting Pattern Shawl "Harlequin"

The fun that this cheerful shawl brings, already starts while knitting. It is suitable even for knitters who don’t have much experience knitting with two colors, as there is no need to carry the yarn.
The flat, slightly asymmetric shape of the shawl is achieved effortlessly through clever increases and
decreases that form the chevron pattern.

Gauge
24 sts and 30 rows = 4"[10 cm] in garter stitch

Yarn
Yarn used for sample:

• Tweedy (85% Superwash Blueface Leicester, 15% Donegal Neps, 400m/437yds per 100g)
• Merino/Bamboo (80% Merino Superwash, 20% Bamboo, 400m/437yds per 100g)

You can use any fingering yarn that matches the gauge.

Yardage:

• 437yds / 400m (100g) in color A
• 437yds / 400m (100g) in color B

Other materials:

• US size 4 [3.5 mm] circular needle or size necessary to obtain gauge
• Tapestry needle
